What do you mean by generator drops out. Is that stops running, or stops charging?
Afik there's no way for what you've described to control the generator.
Easy solar 48/5000/70-10,smart solar MPPT 150 /100 , 9 x 300w solar panels, 4 Exide batteries EP2100, Generator diesel . We are off grid so generator is supplemental to the solar. Generator is manual on/off, relay started cutting out after minutes then seconds now it wont charge batteries at all. We also only have mobile internet so not able to use remote victron connection . Thanks
Are you saying the generator runs, but the power doesn't get through because the relay between generator and rest of the system isn't connecting?

What conditions did you setup for the relay to start the generator?
It was all set up by experts three years ago, in the summer we moved a solar panel and had problems so we reset the unit to default setting and the relay connection has got worse and worse since.
I'd suspect the relay or a wiring issue as first things to test, both easy to check. But your comment about resetting to defaults makes me think you should try and get the people who set it up back to trace the problems.
Thank you, the experts are in the Uk and the unit is in France, they can’t help, getting a french distributor is proving very difficult.
