Is a MCB required

First like to say Hi as I’m newby

I’m going to be installing a Multiplus 12/800/35 into a camper van that I’m building and want to know if I need to install a MCB to the Incoming supply before connecting to the Multiplus.

Hi Aubs. It's probably not an absolute essential, but might be handy. If you do get one, get a double-pole one to switch both Active & Neutral wires (that's often law with mobile applications).

Note Victron provide one onboard their Easysolar boxes for input ac. Yeh double pole.
