Inverter not coming on when power goes off.

We have the attached system set up. We recently got the new lithium battery as our old batteries died. However we get loadshedding in Sourh Africa where the power gets turned off and when this happens my inverter is not coming on. We have to manually reset it at the front of the battery. Any advice would be most welcome.

You show pics with the inverter switched on. What do you see when it is off, are you switching it off? And have you configured anything switch it on? I expect you have a manual change over switch as well.

The inverter is switched off when the mains power goes off by our electricity company. It is then meant to come on for the solar system to start working but only by resetting the battery it comes on

Not the cause, but use a VE.Can terminator in the second (free) BMS-Can port from Cerbo GX.

The UP2500 has a recommended discharge current of 55A.

A 3kVA inverter at 24V can easily exceed this, so you may be pulling too much from the battery forcing the BMS into protect.

You would need to provide a lot more information, both on configuration of the system as well as the power usage at the time of grid failure.

I would look at the system sizing again.
