MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 2x120V AC using one leg

I am going to upgrade my Multiplus 3000 to a Multiplus II with the two leg input/output. For now I just want to use one leg in and out until I finish pulling the two legs, just as the multiplus 3000 is now. Will this cause problems using the II with one leg in and one leg out?
