Another idea ... where can i find ...sdimg.zip or ...wic.gz of Venus OS large ?

I just found .swu versions on Dropbox but the only way to use it I found is to update version with an already install Venus OS version (not Large version) ... on Raspi3B

Format of sd should be ok. Do you click twice on the image in the offline update menu until it says "installing"?

Yes, of course, i clicked twice in this menu ... it returned "installing the version" and after "nothing", no error, no install ..

Hiowever, with the same process, i succeeded to install the v2.80 of Venus OS but not the Large version.

Probably, an update from a Non Large version to a Large one is not allowed ?

I did it a few minutes ago: 2.73 -> 2.80-21 23 Large.

Do you see any hints in this file?

Yes, this file indicates the following error ... "gunzip error "

Also, i found a trace of a correct previous update (no large version)

I would need to check the script (I think line 190) - my installation is now offline. I think at this stage gunzip decompresses to the uboot environment. Could be a permission error.

Could also be a filespace issue.

Can you post a df -Th or df -h or df -k (at the moment I am not sure which parameters a valid in this distro).

very good news this morning ... thanks to your precious help, i can announce that i-we solved my problem.

Yes it works, very fine, and you're right my initial SD card was only 16GB and i changed for a 128GB that works perfectly.
