After apparently successful firmware updates performed yesterday, voltage data from BMV 712 is not received by MPPT anymore. BMV 712 says transmitting, MPPT says waiting for data. tried creating new network, did not help.

Try removing the network on both devices. then de Power both devices. for say 5 min, then reconnect and resetup the network, and see if that helps at all
Thanks for your suggestion: de powered multiplus, de powered (disconnected) smart dongle from MPPT, reconnected and resetup, status quo.
note that BMV 712 has not been made powerless, as I am a complete newbie at this: will disconnecting and reconnecting my BMV 712 affect or reset any measurements?
Remove the clip in plug on the back of the BMV
did a full de power and reinstall using ios device (successfully only used Android device previously) but still status quo. BMV and MPPT both connected to network but BMV transmitting data and MPPT waiting for data. last firmware update assumed culprit.
