GX TOUCH 70 dead zone?

Just hooked up a new GX TOUCH 70 and only about 3/4 of the display is touch sensitive. For example you can't click the pages button or the back button. However, you can select the menu button and scroll as long as you scroll on the right 75% of the screen.


Any ideas?

Did you try a restart of the Cerbo?

I think you may have to take it back and get it check /replaced

Hello,

I have a similar issue with Touch GX70. Have you tried with another display? Did it solve your problem?

Hi @Random Acts of Frank,

I don't know the details, but I do know that this was a known issue and the solution is replacement.

It should not occur again with the replacement (unless it potentially comes from the same old stock), so make sure it's a newly delivered unit.

It wasn't all units, so there is no need to act unless experiencing the issue.

I just have the same fault. It works with the Touch50, but the Touch70 has also the ´dead zone´ in the upper left zone.

Did you fnd a solution for this problem ? Any results ?

Did you send the touch 70 back to your dealer ?

I sent it back and have not received a replacement.

Same issue here, had a Touch 50 that worked great, then upgraded to the 70. Top left has a dead zone and can‘t use the back button in menu. Tried the various suggestions of unplugging, plugging back in, rebooting Cerbo and upgrading firmware from 2.84 to 2.85 to 2.90~3 Latest Release Candidate all without success. Contacted seller for return.

I am having the same issue also - has anyone had the replacement screen work? It almost sounds like this could be a software bug (or a bad batch of screens went out!)

I have also just had this issue with a customer recently.

As Guy mentioned, just replace with a new one and it should work as normal.
