Victron CCGX V2.73, Start/Stop Generator based of SoC has worked for 214 days but failed twice (that I noticed). It would not not try to start the generator when the battery was below the set point.
Yesterday I discovered it does not work if the GPS is not getting satellite time (Blocked by trees for 6 days). The displayed time on Date & Time page was incorrect by more than 6 hours and the date was incorrect by -6 days. Manually correcting the time did not resolve the problem. Rebooting did not resolve the problem, in fact it reverted to the bad GPS time if it was previously manually updated. It would however start the generator based on current draw, another condition.
Moving campsite to open skies resolved the problem today and it is working again.
Anybody else have trouble with GPS time and the Start/Stop Generator function?
