No ESS Assistant found

I just bought a MultiPlus II, a Cerbo GX and a battery with the objective to charge the battery during off peak hours and use it on peak hours. I do not have MK2-USB / MK3-USB.

Just have some questions:
1) How can I implement an ESS as on the console I get "No ESS Assistant found"?
2) How can I implement a schedule to charge the battery during the night and discharge it during the peak hours?

1. You need a MK3 or the System have to be online and connected to the VRM Portal.
