Hi, i am new here - first post, first questions...
Installing a Multiplus-II 12/3000/120-32 on a Sailboat. I do not have a MultiControl panel and would like to use a "Remote Switch" on terminal "M". In the manual found two statements:
3.2 Remote control
Remote control is possible with either a switch or with a Multi Control panel.
and in Appendix A:
M Connector for remote switch: Short to switch “on”.
Is it possible to switch the unit to “charger only” mode with the remote switch (Connector M) , if yes how?

The ‘Quick Installation Guide’ shows only a vertical installation position of the unit.
Is this the only valid position how the unit can be installed or are other positions also allowed if the ventilation still provided?
