Setting negative grid setpoint limited to 80W feed in

Hi, I have a Multiplus II 3000 24V with a 7kWh LiFePO4 battery in a campervan that's connected to my houses mains supply.

I have ESS installed and using the scheduled charging setting on the Cerbo as I have a very low electricity rate in the night. This works great!

I've tried setting the Grid Setpoint to -250W to offset the base load of the house during the day when electricity costs are high but it seems the most I can feed back in is around 80W. It doesn't matter how low the Grid Setpoint value is set, it never feeds in more power.

Am I missing something here?

  • Multi Firmware version: 481
  • Venus OS version: 273.1

Hmm, just updated Venus to 280.16 and it worked. I could set 300W and it put 300W back, 400W and it put 400W.

Then it switched to Passthru and it was at 0W and I couldn't change it at all.
Going into the Settings > Multiplus-II > Advanced > System Reset fixed it.
