I am just starting to look at temperature sensors in Venus OS. The choice of temperature type seems very limited: battery, fridge and generic.
I'd like to see the available types expanded to include:
- Inside air temperature
- Outside air temperature
- Freezer temperature
- Electronics bay temperature
- Engine bay temperature
I could come up with others but for an RV the first 4 would be a great help.
Yes, I know you can add custom names to temp sensors, but I've implemented an enhancement to show temps in the tanks column on the Mobile Overview page and the logic there is to choose a color based on temperature type. The settings parameter that stores the temp sensor type is restricted to the currently defined sensor types so you can't make up new types.
