GARMIN OVERLANDER with VICTRONCONNECT

Hi Community

Have anyone tried to manage Victron devices using VictronConnect installed in a GARMIN Overlander (which is an Android Device).

I managed to download and install the VicConnect App, the app recognize the presence of a Victron device but then I am unable to actually perform a full connection and management of the devices.

Any Idea why?

Thanks

The permission to enter a pin comes as an android bluetooth alert on the Garmin device. To get to this, press and hold on the bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of your screen and slide your finger down to reveal the alert. You will also hear a chime sound when the alert is sent if the Garmin has the volume turned up. You must navigate to this Android alert in order to get past 80% connectivity in the Victron app. Once you enter the pin, you should be able to connect to your Victron devices.

Also, FWIW if you want to go straight to the source, you can download the APK directly from https://www.victronenergy.com/support-and-downloads/software by visiting this site using the browser app on your Garmin, and downloading the APK file. I had to download this version and was able to get it to work since my Garmin is running an older version of Android OS:

Once downloaded, you can install it from the Downloads folder on your Garmin Overlander.
