Venus and Outback MPPT's

Good morning,

I have a fairly old installation with a 48/10000 victorn inverter, 3 x Outback charge controllers and 2 x 460amp/48v lead acid batteries.

I would like to add the Venus monitoring to the system. Would the Venus accept the inputs from the Outback MPPT's?

you would need to install a BMV712 Battery monitor and then you would be able to see the current and the voltage coming into the venus under DC Loads or similar.


there is no way that I know of to connect the outbacks as they dont have the victron interface
