BMV 700 suddenly dead

I have used my BMV 700 for three years, but now suddenly without any signs, the display doesn´t show anything anymore!!! I checked the fuse, its okay. How can i test whats wrong instead of just bying another, as the retailer reocmmends!?????? Woud it help to change the rj12 UTP cable? does anyone know anything about spare parts?

You have 5 years warranty. Ask the seller for a replacement.

Another question: is it always necessary to remove the whole thing and send it in? That involves a lot of hours to get it out. How about your experiences?
