VE.Direct - Text Mode data blocks

In VE.Direct:

Do the data blocks sent in text mode always start with a "PID" field ?

In other words, can the "PID" label be used as data block header ?

As far as I've seen wiht the MPPT devices, this is always the case, and the block ends with the checksum.
