Says low battery on Victron Quattro 5000 48 volt

Quattro has red light on low battery and will not allow any power from the batteries. It will accept power from my generator that is the only way the system will work.


Lights that are currently lit up on the Quattrro is... Bulk, Absorption, inverter on and low battery.

It would be helpful to know what batteries you have.

If they are lithium it is possible that the bms has shut it down. There is usually a wake up procedure in the manual.

Sometimes when they have been either overcharged or over discharged the bms shuts them down for protection.

Have you checked them with a multi meter at all?

not yet but that was my next step. It sounds like you right and it could be in sleep mode. It wouldnt let me charge it either, Anyone know how to get it out of sleep mode?

Each battery is different. Look up your battery manual. They usually have a procedure.
