Using a victron mppt 450 /100 with a quattro 8000 and a gx.
The mppt is set to be controlled via external control.
The quattro is configured to stop charging at 48V.
However the mppt keeps pumping amps into the batteries and not stopping to charge.

I had this problem but fixed it by using dvcc but that may not be an option for you. I’m having all sorts of slight problems with the 450/100 but all too small to worry about . Mainly around output reporting etc and it doesn’t seem to shut down the way my 150/100 and 250/60 do when my battery breaker trips . It’s feeling like a new product might feel , some small niggly problems. I was going to install 2 for my uncle but have decided to stick with the 250/100 instead
Thanks for the inputs, I am using VE.Can . If I use DVCC I will have a setup like basically the MPPT is from a different brand like if it was an Outback .
Could it be a firmware issue?
If using hub instead of ESS the MPPT reduces production as intended. Definitely means it is a bug related with ESS.
How to get this sorted out?
Can someone from Victron team chime in?
@Carlos Carvalho Did you ever solve this issue? My MPPT is behaving the same and ignoring the BMS control settings...
