What's the expected efficiency of an Autotranfromer?
I could not find anything in the Datasheet or Users Manual... I wonder why?
I'm considering using it as a 120V/240V step-up to run a Mini-Split.
Thanks.

Most transformers are 95 - 98% efficient. The loss is complex and consists of Iron losses due to the alternating magnetic field, and Copper losses due to transformer winding resistances. The Iron loss is independent of load. Copper losses go as the square of load current. Thus at light loads the efficiency is poor.
