BYD LVL Sudden Voltage drop to 37V

Hi everyone,

I have a system Quattro 10K with a BYD LVL 15.4kwh. The battey voltage drops suddenly from 53V to 37V. Does anyone has an idea on where the problem is. I am out of troubleshouting ressources.

Hi @Kofi,

The first thing I would do is validate the results using a multimeter on the various testable points on the system to see where the fault might be originating.

Starting at the battery terminals themselves, then working up to the battery fuse, then the DC bus, then the inverter fuse, then the inverter terminals.

Record the voltage measured at each of those points, and then report back.

Hello Guy,

thank you for your answer. Troubleshooting on site shows that actualy the BYD battery shuts down and that the reason why we see the voltage drop.

I will get back after I do my homeork ;)
