I've got about 500W of solar feeding into 4 different Victron MPPT charge controllers, which go to a 675Ah battery bank (brand new Trojan T105s). I created a custom charge profile based on the T105 specs, and set up all the charge controllers on this new profile. Despite being set for the exact same charge profile, the controllers are behaving very differently (see attached screenshots). One of the controllers ("Bimini") stays in bulk all day, while the other controllers spend some time in absorption and float on most days.
I have come to learn that even though all my chargers were networked (through Victron SmartBattery Sense), charging for the Bimini controller was not synchronized with the others because of an outdated dongle (yay). However, wouldn't the charge histories at least resemble each other somewhat? Why would the bimini charger stay in bulk all the time while the others are switching over the abs and then float? On top of this I'm noticing low voltages on the batteries. For example, looking at the history for the "Starboard wing" panel, the controller switched into float mode 7 days ago and 8 days ago, indicating that it was close to full on both days. The minimum battery voltage (the following morning right before the sun came up), was down near 12.0 volts. My xantrex battery monitor shows we only burn about 100Ah each night. With a new 675Ah bank I would expect to use up nearly 350Ah before we drop down to 12v. Any thoughts on this?
