I've just purchased a
GX Tank 140 for connection to a Cerbo CX, as my VDO tank sensors output
4-20mAh.
I've tested the setup using channels 3 and 4 (which supply 20vdc), and it works fine with direct wiring to the sensors.
Q: Is it possible to use the boat's existing wiring, which has a common ground (negative, black), and the only cable directly available is the positive, and if so, how to I connect this to the Tank140?
(The original setup consists of a VDO meter and a switch, which connects +12vDC via the meter to the only available cable (red). I'm trying to avoid having to run extra wires)
