The Victron is set to an end-of-charge voltage of 54.1 V and today I noticed a peak of 58.05.

Do you use a GX device (like the Cerbo GX) and DVCC turned on?
That will overwrite the settings of the RS48/6000.
Which BMS-Setting (Remote Mode) did you choose? When you use a battery with a internal BMS without communication, try that:
"Remote on/off" with a default wire bridge from Remote_L to Remote_H.
I use a battery with external BMS and "Remote on/off" with a default wire bridge from Remote_L to Remote_H.
But the overvotage peak still appears from time to time.
In the picture above, the battery voltage is already higher (57,10) than the set absorption voltage (56,80): how can that be? The absorption voltage is actually the maximum voltage that the battery can have?
I'm just running the RS48/6000/80 in Demo mode on victron connect. I think that is why my changes are not applied to the demo picture.
Do you run your System with a Battery monitor like the BMV 702 or a smart shunt?
If not, did you connect the voltage sense wires VSENSE - (11) and VSENS + (12) to the - and + terminals of the BMS or the Battery?
