Hi There
I want upgrade and enlarge my PV system. I am from Germany
Problem is: power limitting via software setting or dig input at Fronius inverters (Primo/symo) in case of blackout for Battery chargeing
Plan is:
3 Phase system with 3 victron Multipuls2 5 kva and pylontech batteries as ESS
an add aprox 17 kw PV (10 KW east, 7 kw west) via a Fronius inverter
I have already installed 4 kW east and 4,4 kw south with a fronius.
I would install the PV in the AC in side, and use only for vital loads the ac out (heating, refigerator etc)
Grid is quite stable in Germany, but i have installed a switch so that I can a generator if needed. (S1)
In case of a blackout I would:
1. flip the switch S1 to the CEE 32 A Plug
2. disconnect the Fuse an the AC in at the Victrons and the DC switches at the Inverters
3. I would plug the AC out side to the Plug
4. Start the victrons / wait untill Fronius is awake
5. change the Fronius Settings to MC50
6. limit the Power of the inverters to 10 kva (all together ) or less ? via SW setting or Dig input (to meet the 1:1 max rule)
7. switch the DC Side at Fronius back on
will this work ?
It's just a precaution but when I am now expanding my system this would be a very nice feature.
Is there a rule for battery sizing in this case and normal (AC paralell) operation ?
I do not have any experinece with Victron yet and before investing the money...
I work as a electrican sevice tech in the industry so i have quite expierence from injection molding machines to electrical end testing an many others. (automotive production with pcb manufacuring and asembly)
Can anyone give me some advice here.
Thanks for your help
Ralf
