Im planning to built my camper van and add Multiplus inverter. The voltage in North America is 110v. I will travel to South America where the voltage is 220 v. Is my Multiplus will work with it? Thanks
A Multiplus is designed to work with one input/output voltage only. You'd need to adapt the incoming AC voltage to your Multi and the rest of your AC system. You can use a 220 to 120 volt transformer (auto or isolated winding) to bring the 220 v South American power down to 120 volts.
An alternative is to use separate charger (Phoenix or Skyla) and inverter (Phoenix). Victron chargers operate on a wide range of input voltages and frequencies.
