Testing Venus OS v2.70~15 on an Raspberry PI 3B+ and I'm not able to get the WiFi to work. Worked as expected on 2.66, but on 2.70 I just get the message "No Wi-Fi adapter connected" Any other experiencing this or have any tip to make wifi work?

Hi, try on shell
> connmanctl (enter)
> enable wifi (enter)
than check on display if WiFi coming up.

I'm running v2.70~15 on a RPI 4 and the internal Wi-Fi works fine.
From ssh or other console connection, type ifconfig and see if there is a wlan0 entry. If not, something in the kernel isn't correct, maybe a missing device overlay????? Or maybe the internal Wi-Fi isn't working. Try booting to Raspberry PI OS to see if it works there.
Same issue here
I thought my pi 3b+ was broken
rebooting will not solve this, tomorrow will test an older firmware
My RPI 3B V1.2 does not have this issue

@vga @mvader (Victron Energy)
just tested 2 Raspberry PI 3B+ no version number on both boards and
WiFi works OK on one
but on the other Raspberry PI 3B+ it does not work with 2.70~6 nor ~15
it can’t find the WiFi adaptor
going back to version 2.66 and WiFi is working again
for me this is not an issue as I normally do not use the WiFi “ons tuintje”

Hi @vga thank you for reporting this. It 1sounds like some driver issue. You could type dmesg (and post it here), perhaps that helps in fixing this.
For now, I'm hoping someone else here can lend a hand, we have our hands full with releasing v2.70 as is, without spending any consideration on the raspberrypis; and will look at that only later.
Hi all, could you try this again, with v2.70~19?
That version is available for field testing since this morning.
note that the best test is to flash a new image to the sdcard, and then insert that into the pi, and see if you can configure the wifi from the screen and/or remote console.
Hello,
I installed the newest 2.72. I had my system up and running with the 2.6 version. My dongle worked perfectly. With the new version the follwing message comes up in dmesg:
usb 1-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 7 using dwc_otg
[ 175.823447] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=2357, idProduct=010c, bcdDevice= 0.00

Seems like the driver is not compiled anymore. Would be great if this dongle could work again. Any hints?
