I am replacing an old 2 input, 3 output diode isolator. This allowed two engine alternators to charge port starting battery, starboard starting battery and dedicated house bank.
I am replacing with two Argo FET 200-2. I was thinking starboard alternator to FET #1, which in turn would charge starboard battery and house. Port alternator to FET #2, which would charge port battery and also house.
To have both FET's charge the common house bank, can I use a short jumper wire to connect both FETs on the output post that's charging the house bank (assuming both FETs installed side by side)? Or should I run wire from both FETs directly to the house switch distribution?
