Yes you can. We do this for sites where we know internet connectivity can be an issue at times. Make sure there is nothing else on the SD, not even firmware.

Thank you ver much.
I thought the same, but it doesnt seem that datas has been saved on USB. It does show, that an external USB devices is installed.
Is there any advice on this ?
Thanks in advance.
I have never tried a USB stick, but when I use a formatted SD card the storage works just fine
It will only store there is if needs to, and from what I have seen will clear the storage once uploaded.
You could test this by going offline and watching for a bit to see if it starts storing there.
Other thoughts; not sure if the Venus can address an SD of that size? I have little 1GB card, although getting them that small these days is difficult.
Is it FAT32 file format?
Hello together,
i tried again the data storage while no wifi connection.
Unfortunatley without success.
USB are formatted to 32mbits.
I cant see any stored protocoll.
Has anyone a workaround for this topic?
Thanks in advance.
