Why is the input current limit changing the PV Charger (DC Current) during feed in, if I am using a number less than 7?
Setup:
Multiplus II 48/3000
3 x Pylontech US2000
SmartSolar 150/35 with 2.1kw PV

AC coupled PV with 10kw
Pylontech battery is full at 52.4V. No more energy can go in there.
MPPT is making ~1500W DC power. 1500W AC power is about 6.5A (@230V). If you reduce the AC-IN current, then the excess energy has nowhere to go, so the MPPT has to cut back.
You can see that when you set AC input limit to 1A, the MPPT power settles to about 220W which is about 1A AC. So it is doing what you told it.
If the battery was not full, then the MPPT would not be throttled because all energy could go to the battery.
The AC input is bi-directional. That’s where the power goes back to the grid over.
But, it’s not two pipes, it’s one: so, if you make it smaller for power coming in, you also make it smaller for power going out.
