The overvoltage with inductive and capacitive loads Smart solar 250/100

Is there a protection against the overvoltage with inductive and capacitive loads for the charge controller Smart 250/100? and if it exists what is the permitted value ?

The Smart mppt 250-100 has a hard limit of 250v at it PV input.

Do you need help calculating the PV array Voc @ temp?
