Is output of 20a mppt load controlled to the max power point or is it passed through from PV

My application envisages using the dump load on a 20 amp mppt to feed a resistive heating element designed to work at the maximum power point of the connected solar array. Does the load output pass the solar PV output directly through to the load terminals when energised or does it pass through the MPPT and so controlled before reaching the output terminals?

The Load Output terminals are switched to the Battery (Output) terminals after the MPPT.
