ESS, PV inverter on system output

You can see our system in https://vrm.victronenergy.com/installation/1840/share/a6dc5648.

in the drawing PV inverters (Fronius, SMA, Solar Edge, Kostal, total 10pcs) are before Multi's, in the real life those are after multi's (etc. https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/75831/ess-with-fronius-and-zero-feedin-is-overcharging-p.html). Do you have idea what we are done wrong?

Other question: CCGX can see (find out automatically) Fronius and SMA PV inverters, but not Kostal and Solar Edge. Do you is it possible to see those in future? If not no problem.

- I think we add omen PV meter on the system (REL300300000 Energy meter ET340)

- I tried connect manually bu not lucky :)

Other question: Frer meters : We have sever meters in laboratory (frer nano q52 h). We can read those via MCLAN485G ETHERNET /RS485 INTERFACE CONVERTER) https://www.frer.it/fam-48498-CONVERTITORE_DI_INTERFACCIA_ETHERNET__RS485-eng, Direct IP address.

What you think, I can we add this information on CCGX? Once again no worries.

Still one. In the CCGX is possible add 10 PV units, meters etc. Do we have possible add more and how we can do it?

Thanks advance.

Hi,

I think the time would be right, to start reading some manuals:

A total of 10pcs. PV inverters on AC-OUT sounds like you break the 1:0 factor design rule.

AC-coupling and the Factor 1.0 rule [Victron Energy]

Another must read article: ESS design and installation manual (victronenergy.com)

Solaredge PV Inverter integration: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/venus-os:gx_solaredge

I don't know the maximum number of AC-PV inverters the CCGX is able to monitor, but I think it would be simpler, to measure them alltoghether with a single energy meter, to just have a "total PV value" in Venus.

Or better said after you split them and connect most of them back to AC-IN to adhere the 1:0 factor rule on AC-OUT, you will need 2 energy meters measuring the PV inverters on both sides of the system. (1. on AC-IN and 1. on AC-OUT)

It is also possible, to measure PV-Inverters with the Multiplus 2 current sensor (cheaper, but read the docs first):

Stromtransformator für MultiPlus-II - Victron Energy

PS: all PV-Inverters on AC-OUT must react to frequency shift and throttle its power accordingly. So you have to set that up (e.g. MG50 on Fronius) on every PV-inverter you have on AC-OUT.

Thanks Markus: Manuals: I have read those, several times (in last 20 years when I sold VE systems). Systems is't simple and this kind of system you don't find out on any manuals. We will add meter (between PV inverters (Quattros). It's maybe helps (will see), but in the ESS setup" we are allready tell to "the system" that PV inverters are on output. => But we add meter and will se what will happend.
