Hi all!
I installed a MultiPlus 24|800|16 yesterday with a bank of 4 TN-Power LiFePo4 100Ah batteries.
They're connected in two in-series groups that are then connected in parallel via a copper bus bar to a load bus bar.
The inverter function seems to work fine but, for some reason, the MultiPlus isn't kicking into the charger function.
The AC is a stable output from a garage, fused through the plug at 13A.
Now, the batteries have an internal BMS that, allegedly, makes them "charge like AGM batteries" – and I've checked that there's voltage coming into the AC input through the plug. Whenever I click the three-way switch to 'charger', the three LEDs light up, there's a click, and then they turn off again.
Is there any reason why it's not charging?
I've ordered a VE-bus as I saw that there may need to be a firmware update, but it's still confusing why it wouldn't work from the get-go?
And, just in case it's something as stupid as this, the "Charger" LED should stay constantly on when in charge mode, right?
