I have a smart solar 100/30 and would like to install four 150w hqst panels. Their Voc is 22.7 and Isc is 8.09. Can I connect them all in series safely? Would this be considered overpaneling?

Hi @Spic1973,
probably not, unless 22.7V is their rated voltage at low temperature. Borderline, thus not considered safe.
You can check that yourself using the Victron MPPT Calculator.
Thanks for the feedback......could I just wire them two pairs in series and then both pairs in parallel? That should give me 45.4 volts maximum with plenty of margin to 100v and the current max at 16.8amps correct?
I apologize if this has been asked before but I’m trying to make sure that whatever I do, has the safest margins.
Yes, wiring two in series and then parallel will absolutely work.
