BlueSolar MPPT 75/10 not charging, possible short?

Had a heavy storm that knocked one of the solar panels over and had watering pooling near the wiring. The controller is alive running on battery power but the yellow LED is off and the power output is 0. I've tried disconnecting everything and reconnecting and no luck. Would a short of the solar panel connections permanently damage either the panels or the controller? Can I take a 12-24V power supply and connect it to the controller's panel terminals to determine if it works without the panels?

Hello Zach Have you checked the fuse on the charge controller?

hi,

yes the fuse is the suspect number one.. also yes, no problem to simulate the input solar with a power supply if 18v or more (and less 75v here) just to see if the controller is working well (connect the 12v batt first).. the panel frame was grounded? (lightning and static may cause damages)!!
