Can I use an Easyplus or something else with either no battery or a tiny 48v battery. Client has a constant 3kw daytime load but does not need any power at night so no need for batteries. Thanks

Hi @Jae,
This is not supported and will not operate reliably. The Victron range of inverters are designed to operate with a battery connected (the minimum size battery is specified in the individual product manuals).
You will almost certainly receive error messages (such as DC ripple, DC voltage too high, and DC voltage too low), and the unit will shut down with alarms.
