Can I use a BMV 700 to monitor a 24 volt starter battery (CCA (EN -18°C): 815 amps)?
The starter motor needs approx. 200 A at start for max. 4 seconds.

The smart shunt comes in several models 500A and 1000A. There may be a 2000A not sure if it is available yet though.

The BMV 700 only has a 500A shunt, so probably not totally suited to your application unless you can gets its shunt upgraded.
