Hey guys,

Very Quick quesiton. If I set grid setpoint as a -ve to discharge battery when spot price is high, can I rely on the SoC setting to stop discharging when the batteries get too low?

What one takes precidence?

ESS will discharge your battery down to the set SOC under the 'reserved in case of grid failure' setting. Of course you SOC will need to be accurate.

In ESS there will be a sustain voltage set so the system should keep it to that in any case if your SOC is inaccurate. I have never run batteries to dead on grid feedback but the system should not let it run under the sustain voltage, or at least that is how I understand it.
