Are there any instructions/video on how to set the parameters on the GX for use with multiplus, MPPT and the BYD LVL premium battery. Also if I needed to update the firmware on the multiplus are there instructions for that?

Jon if you look at this page https://www.victronenergy.com/live/battery_compatibility:byd_b-box you will get the info for connecting and configuring your Victron system to the BYD battery. should you need to update firmware on any device there are instructions available if you google them.
