How to use grid instead of battery in an ESS system?

I would like to set the system to keep the batteries fully charge, and use the grid to compensate for the solar when required. and save the batteries for when the grid is not available

Configure ESS and set battery mode to Keep Batteries Charged. ESS will do the rest.
