BMV-702 shunt installation when negative side og service and motor batteries are connected

In my installation the negative side of the service battery and the negative side of the motor battery are connected. How do I install the shunt for the BMV-702 in this configuration?

Must is be places “between” the negative sides of the service and motor battery or between the common negative and the load (wich will put engine starter current through the shunt!!).

Connect the motor battery to the load side of the shunt, and only the service battery to the battery side.
