How can I configure my VE.Can MPPT to receive messages from my BMS?

Hello. I have a SmartSolar 150/70 MPPT Tr ve.can connected via CAN interface with a REC BMS and Wakespeed WS500. Is it possible to configure the MPPT to not send out charging commands and simply take direction from the BMS (it seems to disrupt the WS500)? If so, how does one do this? The VE.CAN setting don't seem to be configurable from the bluetooth app and I can't quite confirm what the right software and adapter is to do this from a PC.

Hi, it doesn’t take commands from the REC BMS directly, you need a GX Device (e.g Cerbo GX) in between to do that. (Unless the REC company has implemented a protocol that I’m not aware of, but I’m quite sure they didnt).

I’m checking how to change transmission intervals of NMEA2000 PGNs, and will get back to you on that.
