Are these two multiplus compatible for Parrallel

Hello,


I have 2 multiplus II with the same PN (PMP482305010)

But the SN are different :

- HQ1918*****

- HQ2016*****


When I look on the this forum I understand first that HW is defined by SN, but now it look they cannot accept the same firmware because of SN starting with diferent digit (19 vs 20) https://www.victronenergy.nl/upload/documents/manual-VE.Bus-firmware-versions-explained-EN.pdf

Are these 2 multiplus not compatible for using in parallel on a single phase?


Note: I just buy these 2 multiplus... I did not think it could be an issue on compatibility.

In my opinon this will work as the part numbers are the most important part of a parallel or 3 phase setup. I have a 3 phase setup and the SN are different too but it works quite nice. I also think your inverters will accept the same firmware version.

I was scared by looking more pessimistic answer based on SN: https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/18300/increasing-old-multiplus-5000-setup-to-10000-va-pa.html

When some other discussion only mention to have the same PN.

Note: HW rev are 09 and 14 on my two multiplus.


I will try to upgrade them... but I didnt see how to "force" the same firmware as we should update them separatly.

The SN is always different, each device has it's own unique SN.

Important is the part number and that both have the same firmware.
