Victron Marine MFD with rasberry pi

Hi

Just saw an artictle that you can connect a Simrad Plotter (NNS Evo2) to an GX Device to get an APP caled marine MFD.

My GX device is an Raspberry Pi 3+ running venus OS. Does this combination works or does it need a "real" GX Device for that?

The HTML5 App is also on the Raspi image. (for sure in 2.58 and 2.60)

Browse with a webbrowser in the local network to http://venus.local/app or http://IPaddress/app

If the Simrad NSS Evo 2 would be connected with the same 4G Hotspot as The Raspberry Pi (Venus GX Firmware) is, will the APP pop up automatically in the Simrad Menu? I know that this work over ethernet, wondering if it will be the same over wifi...

If it works like that over Ethernet than it probably will work with WiFi also but...

Not all WiFi hotspots let their clients share data.

So when you connect you can connect to Internet but sometimes you can not see each others devices
