Smart shunt 2000a max voltage

Hi,

I have a use case with 75 v - what happens with the smart shunt then - since it is rated 6-70v? Will it manage, or die?

Thinking maybe that I could power it through a voltagedivider (twio resistors) since the draw to power the smart shunt is only some mA..

regards Jonas

I have 6x12V batteries powering an electric vehicle.

This gives 72 V and even higher when charging.

Can I use a 500A Smart Shunt or will it die?

How does the unit handle over voltage? Will it not be measured or will it harm the smart shunt?

Please shed some light regarding this,

/Markus

For higher voltages you should use the BMV-700H

But I'm not sure if the 500A shunt can be exchanged with the 2000A shunt.
