Do you mean the min voltage is not the same as the minimum battery voltage you have observed due to SOC?
I think you will find the minimum reading will be affected by loads applied to the battery, for example, if you turn a heavy load on the voltage will dip and the solar regulator will pickup this reading. The reading does not necessarily reflect the minimum SOC for the day, unless you had no loads, of course.
I find the MPPT history is very useful in analysing not only solar issues, but also system issues. It'd be great if the BMV also maintained this history.
