Plugging different PV circuits in an EasySolar MPPT

Good afternoon,

I have an MPPT EasySolar 150/100, 48VOLT|5000 VA|70AMP. The max DC Amp is 100 A and the max DC voltage is 150 V.

Three different PV circuits can be plugged in.

Do these three circuits need to deliver the same voltage and amperage, or can they be different ?

I have 21 PV panels delivering 9.3 A & 30.9 V (& 270 Wcr) each and I could wire them to get two times six panels (delivering 92.7 V/18.6 A for each group of 6 panels) and one time 9 panels (delivering 92.7 V/27.9 A).

This being said, the 21 panels deliver at max 5670 Wcr, that exceeds the 5000 W that is the MPPT capacity.

Should I plug in only 18 panels (3x6 panels or 2x9 panels) instead?

The way you've described it is confusing, but I think I follow..

Use them all. Your mppt is 100A, your panels 5670W, and that equates to 56.7V at the battery, which is a typical charge V at 48V nominal.

Wire them all in series strings of 3x (your 92.7V). And yes, you can deliver that with 3x wire pairs, which will suit the mppt connections. The Amps don't have to match there, but MC4 connectors are rated to 30A, so you'll manage that how you've described it. Use 6mm2 wire, the max for MC4 fittings.

Victron made that mppt just for you, a near-perfect match. Happy Days.. :)
