Consumption and SoC not showing up on VRM

We have a new small installation with a Phoenix 800VA (without charger), 2 x 100Ah batteries,100/30 and solar panels connected to a Venus. Problem is that on the VRM the inverter is shown as having 0W and consumption tab also is 0. Do we need to install a BMV to get these parameters? Note that we've updated all equipment with latest firmwares

Not entirely sure but I think the consumption shown there is the energy consumed from the grid.
But since you don't have any grid this is 0.
Neither the Poenix nor the MPPT have the ability to track the SOC of you battery for that you will need a BMV or SmartShunt.

Ok. Regarding the SoC I understand but why doesn't the VRM show consumption when it shows up with a Multiplus that also is connected elsewhere in an off-grid system is puzzling.
