I'm using two Quattro 5000kVA 12/120 inverters in parallel on a boat. I have two questions:
1) Others have experienced pass through failures where the inverter failed and does not pass through either generator or shore power - thus leaving the boat with no AC power options. Would it be wise to wire a bypass so the boat could have generator or shore power incase of inverter failure? (Wiring a bypass seems a bit complicated).
2) In the event of a single inverter failure in a parallel configuration, is there a simple way to revert to a single inverter failover mode? Also, this might inform question 1 because the second inverter's pass through might act as pass through in the event where one inverter failed.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
