Yes, use ethernet wiring. You'll need a hub & a DHCP server: I would buy a simple internet router, even if there is no internet connection.
I'd like to clarify the above answer if I may.
The Fronius and the Colour GX will connect over their Ethernet ports to the router or hub.
The Quattro does not have an Ethernet connection and needs to connect directly to the Colour GX VE.Bus port with a standard UTP (network) cable. Do not connect the Quattro to the hub or router.
